What it is
The first phase of MIT €100K Portugal kicks off the competition!
• In December, selection of the top 20 projects for the Semi-Final.
• In January and February, dedicated specialized mentorship program for the 20 semi-finalist teams.
• In March, the Semi-Final: a live 3-minute pitch in English before the Jury, which selects the 10 best projects that go through to the Final.
What you need to deliver
• Fully completed online application form.
• Valid proof of enrollment in PDF format (with digital signature) for at least one student enrolled in a Portuguese higher education institution.
• Pitch Deck and Idea Pitch Framework submitted entirely in English.
• Live 3-minute Pitch presentation in English.
How it is assessed
75% — Idea Evaluation (submitted materials):
• Scientific and/or technological basis (20%)
• Degree of innovation and value creation (20%)
• Social, economic, and environmental impact potential (15%)
• Project maturity and execution feasibility (15%)
• Feasibility of the development plan (15%)
• Team profile and skills (15%)
25% — Pitch Evaluation:
• Clarity, structure, project mastery, and Q&A handling.
